Welcome to my Homepage. This site details my interests in art, graphic design, photography, filming and editing. The main sections are:
I've gotten back into editing after a fairly long gap and recently completed my first edited project since December 2007. I'm now working on a Cyprus wedding/holiday video which I started last year and which is way behind schedule (I'd originally wanted it ready by last Christmas). It's really starting to take shape now though, although it may still be a few months before it's entirely ready. Further below on this page is a revised list of current projects and the position they're at. I suspect my Longleat pages that I'd intended to put up this year will now go up next year because of the time I want to put into editing the Cyprus stuff but we'll see. Don't forget: series one of The Phil Silvers Show (aka Bilko) will finally be released during September. That will be good to see and will likely see me taking a break from watching Friends (which I've recently got back into - I'm on series 2 of that). | Cyprus Holiday / Wedding Video Project |
This will either end up as two or three videos depending on how long
each part of the project is. The main video will concentrate on the
wedding that we all went out for, the second one will concentrate on
the rest of the week we spent in Cyprus and the third one would be
of the reception held in the UK for those who got married in Cyprus.
It is this part that I may add onto the end of the Cyprus wedding
itself, depending on running time. I began editing this in July 2009 and last touched it in October due to not being able to concentrate because of intermittent foot pains. Then that cold winter set in and I didn't want to be sat in a cold room editing. Must get a decent heater for next winter. So far I've gone through the (1000 or so) photos and footage to see what should be used and I've began work on the timeline for everything related to the wedding. This first video looks to be lasting around an hour. Once the timeline is established the next stages will be: Setting the photos up with image pan so that they can be zoomed into. Stitching the photos / footage together. Adding the music soundtrack. Producing the final Master edit. Then I do the same with the general holiday video. |

| Portmeirion | A
mammoth film project that I started work on in February 2008 and
which is ongoing. I keep changing my mind as to how to progress this
one. Recently I asked permission to use particular music for this
and the Florida one and thus far I've been pleasantly happy with the
response. Therefore I've already started work choosing the
soundtrack and I have a basic idea of how to proceed with the whole
project now. There are likely to be at least three main videos for this one: footage from 1989 / 1990 will form the basis of one video, the footage from 2003 to 2006 will be edited to form another video and the photos from 2003 to 2006 will form the basis for the other. There will be other, shorter videos associated to these ones. |

| The Revenge Of Zeg | To be re-edited, this is a 1980s video. This is one I know I'm going to really enjoy. Although I've put Spring 2012 as a finish date I suspect I shall play on this a lot sooner. | Spring 2012 |
| Xonus | The re-edit and re-mastering of a video I made in the 1990s. I started work on this in August 2008 but stalled in October of the same year. Lots of work needed on this one. | Autumn 2012 |
| Mallorca | I began work on this during the latter part of 2008 but haven't got around to finishing it yet. There's the possibility of going back to Mallorca and it seems better to wait to see how things work out before finishing this project. | 2013? |

| Wedding Video | I was asked to edit this as a favour, the footage was filmed by other people and this ended up as a 21 minute video. I enjoyed editing this one and hope the relevant people like it (they haven't seen it yet). | 25th July 2010 |
